After hearing about blogging for a fairly long time, I've been warming up to the idea of having something worth saying. Since it seems that the main barrier to blogging is not having said anything yet, I'm starting to write even if I have nothing substantial to say.
There are lots of things going on these days that have caught my attention, and it appears that technology is going ''someplace'' very fast. I'm not sure exactly where it's headed, but it seems that new communities are springing up everywhere based on this new technological "word of mouth". The blogosphere is a great place to hunt around for something to read and comment on. I've grown to appreciate how paying attention to a bunch of news sources gives you so much more to say. There's so much more to react to that it is far easier to have an opinion.
However, what is clear is that not everyone has a newsworthy opinion. Sometimes it's nice to see whatever someone has to say, just for the sake of open-mindedness, but filtering gets easier when you get some practice. I guess it's like deleting spam. After a while, you begin to recognize what is just junk and what is worth your time.
